Erik Papir is an accomplished GTM technology executive and a seasoned global leader, currently serving as the Sr. Director, ASEAN Technical Solutions at Palo Alto Networks. Now based in Singapore, Erik brings decades of experience to the cybersecurity landscape, having built a strong reputation for his expertise in solutions engineering, technical marketing, and leading high-performance technical teams that drive revenue growth.

Building on this foundation of global leadership, Erik previously served as the VP of Worldwide SE at Wiz, a leading cloud security provider. In this capacity, he oversaw the global Solutions Engineering organization, driving the team's efforts to deliver top-tier cloud security solutions. He was responsible for leading a global team of technical experts who worked closely with customers to secure their cloud estates, while also leading a team of Partner Solutions Architects focused on CSPs, GSIs, and national partners.

Prior to his tenure at Wiz, Erik’s leadership journey continued at HashiCorp, where he was the VP of Worldwide Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architecture & Field CTO. He was responsible for a significant transformation within the company, helping the SE and SA teams evolve to own the entire customer journey. His leadership was pivotal in structuring these teams to support rapid growth and complex customer requirements.

Earlier in his career, Erik held senior leadership positions at several leading technology companies, including 3Com, HP, Brocade, Ruckus Networks, and Big Switch Networks. Throughout his journey, he has consistently demonstrated his ability to build highly effective technical teams that connect with customers and deliver tangible business results.

Erik holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Washington University in St. Louis. He is a recognized thought leader in the SE community and regularly speaks at industry events on various technology themes.
