After completing a Master’s Degree in Telecommunications and an Executive MBA from INSEAD, Viktor began his career delivering large outsourcing service engagements and has since amassed over two decades of global experience in cyber security, information risk and service management. He combines deep technical expertise with a pragmatic approach to cyber risk management, helping CISOs and Boards build trust, enable growth, and make defensible decisions in an evolving risk landscape.

Viktor’s experience spans leading security transformation programmes, developing go-to-market strategies for cybersecurity services, and advising on modern security architecture across critical infrastructure sectors including financial services, telecommunications, and other regulated industries. He has expertise in regulatory and compliance advisory, with experience across MAS TRM, HKMA, PRA, EU DORA, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS and other regional frameworks. He regularly advises clients on zero trust, security modernization, and strategic alignment of security with business objectives.

He has served as a CISO, advising executive teams on security governance, risk reporting, and cyber strategy, and has led regional and global teams across APJ, EMEA, and ASEAN for organisations such as Avaloq, Cisco, HP, and Standard Chartered. Viktor has also developed and scaled cybersecurity service lines, established Centers of Excellence, and driven multi-million-dollar advisory offerings in areas such as 5G and telco network security.

Prior to joining Unit 42, Viktor held senior leadership roles in HP, Cisco, Avaloq, and Standard Chartered. He has led bank-wide security risk programs, continuous control monitoring initiatives, and security architecture advisory, and has contributed to the maturity and execution of cybersecurity across complex global environments.

Viktor is an active contributor to the cybersecurity community and has served as a board member of ISACA Singapore, a leading association for technology governance, risk, and security professionals. He has numerous certifications including CISM, CRISC, CDPSE, and CCSP, and is currently based in Singapore.
